50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III), is an American rapper, actor and entrepreneur.

& Early Life
Jackson was born in the borough of Queens, New York
City, on July 6, 1975.His mother was killed at age 23, when Jackson was eight
years old.He began boxing at about age 11, and when he was 14, a neighbour
opened a boxing gym for local youth.He was selling crack during primary school.
He began boxing at about age 11, during primary school.At age 12, Jackson began
dealing narcotics and brought guns and drug money to school. In July, 1994, he
was arrested, when police searched his home and found heroin, crack cocaine,
and a starting pistol.Although Jackson was sentenced to three to nine years in
prison, he served six months in a boot camp and earned his GED.
Career
Jackson's first appearance was on "React"
with an American hip hop group Onyx, for their 1998 album "Shut
'EmDown". Jackson's popularity began to grow after the successful, single
"How to Rob". In 2000, when 50 Cent was at his grandmother's house,
he was shot nine times.50 Cent released his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'
in February 2003. This album selling 872,000 copies in its first four days. His
lead single, "In da Club" set a Billboard record as the most
listened-to song in radio history within a week.
In March 2005, 50 Cent released his second commercial
album The Massacre, sold 1.14 million copies in its first four days. In
September 2007, 50 Cent released his third album Curtis, sold 691,000 copies
during its first week. His fourth studio album "Before I Self
Destruct" was released on November 9.Jackson's fifth album, Street King
Immortal, was initially scheduled for a summer 2012 release and postponed until
November 13.Jackson was hurt in a car crash on New York's Long Island
Expressway on the night of June 25, 2012. Made his directorial debut with
television series Power (2014–2020), a series on which he also served as an
actor and Executive Producer.50 Cent has won several awards, including a Grammy
Award, 13 Billboard Music Awards, 6 World Music Awards, 3 American Music Awards
and 4 BET Awards.As an actor, Jackson appeared in the film Get Rich or Die
Tryin' (2005), Home of the Brave (2006), and Righteous Kill (2008).
50 Cent is CEO and founder of SMS Promotions. 50 Cent
is also founder of G-Unit Records, G-Unit Films, G-Unit Books, G-Unit Clothing
and G-Unity Foundation. He is owner of Sire Spirits.
