over and let the beautiful stuff out."
3. "We are an
impossibility in an impossible universe."
4. "I have never
listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or

crimes than burning books. One of them is not reading them."
6. "I don't try to
describe the future. I try to prevent it."
7. "Don't think.

things."
8. "We are all cups,

in being serious about anything. I think life is too serious to be taken
seriously."
10. "Love. Fall in
love and stay in love. Write only what you love, and love what you write. The
key word is love. You have to get up in the morning and write something you
love, something to live for."
11. There are two races
of people - men and women - no matter what what women's libbers would have you
pretend. Men are born with no purpose in the universe except to procreate.
There is lots of time to kill beyond that.
12. I am one of those
fortunate people who were born to be joyful writers discovered the fact early
on.
13. I have fun with
ideas. I play with them.
14. I don't believe in
being serious about anything. I think life is too serious to be taken
seriously.

what have we? We have no past and no future.
